Labour’s stubbornness on 20mph costing Wales
First Minister’s Questions today saw the Welsh Conservative Leader hold the First Minister to account on the blanket 20mph speed limit in Wales and the comments by senior Labour MP Chris Bryant, who called the implementation of the scheme “bonkers”.
Commenting on the exchange with the First Minister, Andrew RT Davies MS said:
“People across Wales agree with Chris Bryant’s description of Labour’s 20mph rollout as bonkers.
“But instead of listening to the people, the First Minister arrogantly claimed the comments weren’t made at all.
“Labour’s blanket 20mph speed limits are unwanted and are harming the Welsh economy. The Welsh Conservatives will listen to the Welsh people and scrap this vanity project.”
