(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2018

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have a maximum duration of six months

 

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding along that part of the footpath that commences on Merthyr Road, 36 metres south of the property Bethel House, Aberdare CF44 9PB Grid Reference SN9589105480. The path continues north for 53 metres to Grid Reference SN9590905523 where the path bears east for a further 27 metres along steps to terminate at Grid Reference SN9592705519

 

The restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety.

 

The Order will be in operation from 9th July 2018 for a period of 6 months

 

For the duration of the closure, the public are advised to use the existing highway network.
