Labour and Plaid ignore the will of the Welsh people on 20mph
Responding to the outcome of the debate on the record-breaking, 500,000-signature petition on the 20mph speed limit, Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:
“Today we had the opportunity to debate and formally recognise the record-breaking petition to scrap the Welsh Labour Government’s 20mph policy.
“A recent change in government saw the early signs of a positive change in rhetoric and outlook. However, the Welsh Labour Government have yet again opted to ignore the voices of the people of Wales.
“The Welsh Conservatives have been clear from the very beginning; we will continue fighting to scrap Labour’s 20mph speed limit, listen to the voices of the people of Wales and get our country moving again.”
