(PENYCOEDCAE ROAD, PENYCOEDCAE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close Penycoedcae Road, from its junction with Llantrisant Road, southwards for 820 metres The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road The closure is expected to be in operation overnight during the following dates and times, or until such time as the works have been completed:-
From 9:00pm on 3rd February 2020 to 6:00am on 4th February 2020
From 9:00pm on 4th February 2020 to 6:00am on 5th February 2020
From 9:00pm on 5th February 2020 to 6:00am on 6th February 2020
From 9:00pm on 6th February 2020 to 6:00am on 7th February 2020
Alternative route
From the southern side of the closure, proceed via Penycoedcae Road, Gwaunmiskin Road, Llantrisant Road (Beddau Halt), A473 Church Village Bypass, Tonteg Road, Upper Boat Roundabout, A470, Broadway, Sardis Road, Factory Lane and Llantrisant Road to the northern side of the closure.
For vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, reverse the directions given above Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles
