(ABERNANT ROAD, ABERDARE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close Abernant Road, from its junction with Abernant Roundabout to its junction with Ynys Roundabout
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road in connection with bridge works
The closure is expected to be in operation overnight from 10:00pm on 16th March to 06:00am on 17th March 2020 or until such time as the works have been completed.
The alternative route for vehicles shall be from the northern side of the closure proceed via Wellington Street, Meirion Street Roundabout, A4059 and the Ynys Roundabout to the southern side of the closure
For vehicles traveling in the opposite direction reverse the directions given above.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles
