It might be the summer holiday period but our officers are still keeping busy engaging with schools.
Today, PC Arndell, our Youth Engagement Officer, swung by Hirwaun Primary School for the “Food and Fun” holiday program. He chatted with the pupils about staying safe both in the community and online—like when they’re gaming or scrolling through social media. He also talked about stranger danger and who they can really trust. It’s all about making sure the kids know how to stay safe and feel secure in their community.
They all had great fun trying on police uniforms and pretending to be officers!
This is all part of a partnership with RCT local authority, backed by the Welsh Local Government Association and the Food and Fun program.
