Aberdare Country Park Public Footpath Order

The Council has made a legal order to update the Definitive Map and Statement, which is the official record of public rights of way in the Cynon Valley area.

This update adds three public footpaths in Aberdare—Footpaths 69, 70, and 71—to the official map. These are now legally recognized public paths, and their routes, lengths, and widths are described in detail in the notice.

The public has until 25 August 2025 to object or comment on the changes. After that, the Council may confirm the order or submit it to Welsh Ministers if objections are raised.

If no such representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Welsh Ministers may itself confirm the Order.
