PC Arndell, in collaboration with Cynon Neighbourhood Policing Team, has been actively engaging with the learners at the Ty Gwyn Education Centre in Aberdare.
This work not only fosters positive interactions between our officers and PCSOs and the youths but also provided an excellent platform for discussing a range of significant topics. From conversations about crime and anti-social behavior (ASB) to the pathways for pursuing a career in the police, the event was hopefully informative and enriching to those that attended.
The young participants had the opportunity to explore various police equipment, including the exciting experience of visiting the CCTV van, which undoubtedly sparked their interest!
Such hands-on engagement is instrumental in building trust and understanding within the community, and it’s heartening to know that the youths had an enjoyable time.
