Taxpayers expect a return on investment in TFW
Responding to the review of proposed timetable changes by Transport for Wales, Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:
“I very much hope that the vast amount of taxpayers’ money; £125 million, handed over by the Welsh Labour Government to bail out TfW, will actually deliver the much-needed improvements to transport services across Wales.
With over a million minutes of delays on TfW services last year alone, urgent action is needed to improve the situation for commuters.
Whilst the Labour Government continue to punish commuters with policies such as their default 20mph speed limits and a halt on investment into new road projects, the Welsh Conservatives are working on a manifesto that actually delivers for the hard-working people of Wales, simply trying to get from A to B.”
