Deep-rooted hatred of motorists evident from Labour

Responding to the statement from Labour’s Transport Minister, Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:

“The Labour Government’s anti-car bias is as clear as day for all to see and the Deputy Minister doesn’t try to hide his deep-rooted hatred of motor vehicles.

“The Transport Commission has stated that Electric Vehicles will have an ongoing role to play in the future and I have long called for Labour to improve the charging infrastructure across Wales. Yet, the Deputy Minister has chosen instead to listen to his Lycra clad lobbyist pals and do everything possible to punish motorists.

“The Welsh Conservatives are on the side of hard-working motorists simply trying to get from A to B. We would make the changes needed to get Wales moving.”
