Relationships and Sexuality Education Verdict
Commenting on the news that Public Child Protection Wales group campaigners’ appeal against their High Court judgement has not been upheld, Welsh Conservative Shadow Education Minister, Laura Anne Jones MS said:
“While I am disappointed by the result today, this ruling does not change the fact that it is obviously parents that know better than the Labour Government what is best for Welsh children.
“The Welsh Conservatives will never stop fighting for parental choice when it comes to deciding over whether ‘Relationships and Sexuality Education’ content is age appropriate for their children.
“While Jeremy Miles may say he feels ‘vindicated’ today, it is of paramount importance that the Minister dispenses with his flippant attitude of dismissal when it comes to the reasonable concerns of parents in Wales.”
