Weekend Road Closure – A465 Between Cefn Coed (A470 Junction) and Dowlais 19 to 22 May 2023
A full weekend closure of the A465 between Cefn Coed and Dowlais will take place from 20:00hrs on
During this closure, amongst other works, our team will:
Friday 19 until 06:00hrs on Monday 22 May 2023.
- Install highway drainage crossings at Dowlais and Pant
- Prepare for the installation of the High Street bridge beams
- Undertake concrete arch strengthening works to the central section of Taf Fechan. This grouting work needs to take place when the road is closed to guarantee there is no vibration from traffic.
