A465 Weekend closure between Rhigos Roundabout and Glynneath Junction – 10th to 13th February 2023.
A new date has arranged for this work and this requires a full closure of the A465 between Rhigos Roundabout and Glynneath junction. This work was planned to be undertaken in January, however due to adverse weather conditions it had to be postponed.
This closure will take place on the following dates:
From 20:00hrs Friday 10 February 2023
Until 06:00hrs Monday 13 February 2023
Three-way temporary traffic lights will also be in use at the roundabout over the weekend, with traffic flow being changed several times throughout the weekend. It is likely that there will be delays in the area and motorists are asked to plan their journeys accordingly.
During the closure we will be installing the first of two permanent roundabouts at this location, with this roundabout being in operation following the closure.
