UPDATE: A465 Cefn Coed to Dowlais Upcoming Traffic Management.
| During the weekend closure of the A465 between Cefn Coed and Dowlais (Friday 17 to Monday 20 February 2023). The construction team were able to make good progress with their work at Taf Fechan Viaduct. This means that only two of the overnight closures are currently needed and these are: Wednesday 1 March and Thursday 2 March. On each of these evenings the closure of the A465 will be from Cefn Coed to Dowlais Top and will start at 20:00hrs with the road re opening at 06:00hrs the following morning. As a result we are able to postpone a number of the previously advertised overnight closures, as shown below. Monday 20 February – POSTPONED Tuesday 21 February – POSTPONED Wednesday 22 February – POSTPONED Thursday 23 February – POSTPONED Friday 24 February – POSTPONED Monday 27 February – POSTPONED Tuesday 28 February – POSTPONED Wednesday 1 March Thursday 2 March Friday 3 March – POSTPONED Other work will also take place throughout the area to maximise the use of the closure time.
