DRUGS SEIZED | ARRESTS MADE | RHONDDA
Police seized drugs worth over £100,000 in a series of Rhondda raids this week.
Officers executed the arrest and search phase of Operation Tredegar which was focussing on the supply of class A drugs in the region.
Search warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act were executed at three address across Tonypandy on Tuesday (Feb 9).
Between two and three kilogrammes of drugs suspected to be cocaine were seized, along with approximately £2,000 in cash.
Drug paraphernalia including drug presses and digital scales were also recovered, along with property such as cars and motorbikes which have been seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Three local men have been arrested. One has been recalled to prison, one has been released under investigation and one has been released without charge.
