National Children’s Day UK: 13 May 2018
Sunday 13th May 2018 is National Children’s Day in the UK.
The day is dedicated to celebrating the importance of a healthy childhood and protecting the rights and freedoms of children.
Around the world the day is celebrated on the 20th of November, the day nominated by the United Nations, but in the UK, the day is held on the 13th of May, the beginning of summer, so that children have the opportunity to get outside.
The aim of NCDUK is to encourage as many people as possible to highlight and celebrate the rights and freedoms of children, as well as celebrating the activities of organisations that work to protect and promote the health and well-being of children.
