(CROSS STREET, PENRHIWCEIBER) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the following sections of roads:
1. Cross Street, from its junction with Glanlay Street to it junction with the western side of Penrhiwceiber Road
2. Cross Street, from its junction with Railway Terrace to its junction with the eastern side of Penrhiwceiber Road
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road.
The closure is expected to be in operation from 2nd – 27th March 2020, or until such time as the works have been completed
Alternative route
From the eastern side of the closure, proceed via Station Terrace, Penrhiwceiber Road, Cynon Terrace and Glanlay Street to the western side of the closure.
For vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, reverse the directions given above.
Access WILL NOT be maintained for emergency service vehicles or pedestrians
