Temporarily prohibit order Miskin Road, Mountain Ash from its junction with Bailey Street to its junction with Glyngwyn Street and Penrhiwceiber Road

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(MISKIN ROAD, MOUNTAIN ASH)

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

 

The effect of the Order will be to

 

1. Temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Miskin Road, Mountain Ash from its junction with Bailey Street to its junction with Glyngwyn Street and Penrhiwceiber Road

 

It is expected to be operative overnight from 11:00pm to 6:00am the following morning from 2nd March 2018 to 27th March 2018 or until such time as the works are completed

 

The restriction is necessary whilst works are being carried out on or near the road

 

Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles but NOT for pedestrians

 

The alternative route for vehicles is as follows:

 

From the northern side of the closure, proceed via Bailey Street and Glyngwyn Street to the southern side of the closure.
