Wales continues to have the highest economic inactivity rate in Britain.
The Welsh Conservatives have criticised Labour’s punitive taxation measures.
Commenting, Welsh Conservative Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Energy, Samuel Kurtz MS said:
“These statistics are unacceptable; Wales urgently needs a pro-growth economic strategy, which we aren’t getting from Labour, propped up by Plaid and the Lib Dems.
“It’s clear that only the Welsh Conservatives have a credible, costed plan to cut taxes and lift unnecessary burdens from our drivers of economic growth: hardworking people and businesses.
