Trehafod Football Pitch has been subjected to vandalism, resulting in significant damage to the site.
This incident will unfortunately impact local grassroots football provision, with several junior teams now unable to access the facility. The pitch was scheduled to reopen for the new season on Saturday, August 9, however, this will now be delayed while our Parks Team undertakes the necessary repair work.
This is a valued community asset, and such behaviour is both unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
