Tonypandy, Trehafod Drug dealers use their car as a weapon to flee from officers

They caused thousands of pounds in damage as they tried to flee undercover officers.
On Sunday, October 8 (2024), Luker Lawson and Kian Parmee – both in a silver Vauxhall Corsa – were penned-in by officers on a narrow valleys street.
Officers had been looking out for Parmee’s Corsa after finding messages from him offering cocaine on a drug user’s phone which they had seized.
As the officers dismounted their car and approached their Corsa, Parmee, who was driving, reversed into a wall and drove into an officer and parked car in a bid to get away.
A quick-thinking officer smashed the driver-side window to detain Parmee and several bags of cocaine fell from his pocket as he was ejected from the car.
Once the pair were in handcuffs, officers searched their vehicle and found grip seal bags of cocaine inside a Gucci ‘man bag’.
Cocaine worth more than £1k, cannabis and drug paraphernalia such as digital scales were found during searches of their home addresses. A replica pellet-firing hand gun was also seized.
Luker Lawson, 19, of Penygraig, Tonypandy, and Kian Parmee, 22, of Morgannwg Street, Trehafod, were both charged with multiple drugs offences including conspiring to supply cocaine, crack cocaine, and cannabis and possessing cocaine and cannabis. Parmee was also charged dangerous driving.
They pleaded guilty to all offences and appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Thursday, January 30, where Lawson was jailed for ******** and Parmee was jailed for *********.
