Following the recent poor weather, repair work to the road surface is required on the A4061 Rhigos Mountain Road, near the Treherbert end.
Temporary traffic lights have been put in place at the pictured location as a necessary safety measure. Mitigation work will begin tomorrow (Wednesday, February 26), with initial repairs carried out under traffic lights over the coming days.
Further essential work will take place at a separate location on the road next week. This will require two overnight road closures, with exact dates and details to be confirmed shortly.
