RE: Save the School transport RCT Public Protest – Saturday 19th October at 11 am, RCT Council Offices, Llys Cadwyn, Taff St, Pontypridd, CF37 4TH
Thank you for all the messages of support for this important campaign to save the home-to-school transport in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
For all those attending the protest please take a moment to read the following important information about the event:
Location and time of protest: The protest is taking place at RCT Council Offices, Llys Cadwyn, Taff St, Pontypridd, CF37 4TH
Travel & Parking:
Pontypridd railway station and bus station are a 3-minute and 7-minute walk from the assembly point, for those able to travel by public transport. One of the organisers will be at the station to meet and direct people towards the protest.
For those that are driving there are several car parks in the town, and parking at Council car parks is free after 10 am on Saturdays:
The Gas Road Car Park, CF37 4TH, Catherine St Car Park, CF37 2TB, and the Millfield Car Park, Mill Street, Pontypridd, CF37 2TS, are all a short walk from the meeting point.
You can also park at the Sardis Road Car Park CF37 1JR and the Berw Road Car Park, Morgan St, CF37 2DS, which are around an 8-minute walk away.
