Commenting following his exchange with the Labour Welsh Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Peter Fox MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Finance and Local Government said:
“Most people in Wales will agree that recent spending from Labour Welsh Government officials using procurement cards is at least questionable and, in some cases, reckless in nature.
“Many thousands of pounds have been unreasonably spent on lavish lunches in New York, for example.
“It’s high time for an audit of this spending and new guidelines published to avoid this kind of embarrassment in the future.”
