The north-south divide has never been worse
Responding to his exchange with Labour’s Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport in the Senedd, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for North Wales, Darren Millar MS said
“The North-South divide, perpetuated by the Labour Government in Cardiff Bay, has never been worse.
“Whether it be on local government settlements, building hospitals or transport infrastructure and the extreme disparity between the North and South Wales metro projects, we are not getting our fair share of funding in North Wales.
“The UK Conservative Government has a levelling up agenda to boost prosperity across the UK, all the Labour Welsh Government have put forward are excuses for the gross unfairness they’ve offered North Wales compared with their heartlands in the South.”
