Labour’s ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ government keeping Wales poorer
Commenting, following his exchange with Labour’s Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Jeremy Miles in the Senedd today, Welsh Conservative Shadow Economy Minister, Samuel Kurtz MS said:
“Labour in Wales are a Jekyll and Hyde government. They may offer warm words, but it’s their policies that are keeping Wales and our people poorer.
“Not supporting high streets by failing to pass on business rates relief, targeting tourism and hospitality businesses with the 182-night threshold and attacking farming through the Sustainable Farming Scheme are just three examples of their Hyde-like policies, stifling our economy.
“Governments can’t make jobs, they can only make the right conditions for jobs and on this metric, Labour are failing the people of Wales.”
