Cardiff Airport’s ever-growing money pit for Walsh Taxpayers
Responding to an expert claiming Cardiff Airport lacks a unique selling point (USP), Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:
“Labour Ministers have sunk nearly £200m into Cardiff Airport to prop it up after year upon year of financial losses.
“With passenger numbers dwindling and no current signs of Labour selling the airport to a private company, Cardiff Airport has become a Welsh Government money pit.
“I have often called for diversification of Cardiff Airport and finding its USP would offer some hope to Labour’s failing endeavour, although I do not expect any innovative thinking to come from Labour’s Transport Minister.”
