Welsh Labour’s cladding crisis continues
Responding to the Labour Government’s continuing delays in revealing details of cladding remediation data and fire safety works. Janet Finch-Saunders MS, Shadow Minister for Housing, said:
“People who go to sleep frightened that they will be woken up by a fire alarm rather than an alarm clock will not accept Labour’s lack of urgency on cladding.
“Cladding is literally an issue of life or death, and people expect up-to-date information of the progress that is being made to tackle unsafe buildings.
“The Labour Welsh Government must finally appreciate how serious these problems are and be open about what progress, if any, is being made. I will continue to champion the cause of trapped residents across Wales. They deserve justice.”
