Labour undermine the blanket 20mph review before it has started
Responding to the response to the Welsh Conservatives’ Topical Question Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:
“Today I asked Labour to make a statement on the planned review of their blanket 20 mph speed limits.
“More than 468,000 people across Wales do not want a review, they want this madcap scrapped. It is high time the Deputy Minister parks his ego and scraps his vanity project once and for all.
“The Deputy Minister could not confirm that the review panellists are not linked with the Welsh Government or have not previously been on the Labour Government pay roll, which undermines the entire legitimacy of the review. He also failed to provide me with any confidence that this would be a credible process .”
