Empty promises from Labour’s wannabe leader
Responding to the exchange with Labour’s Education Minister, Laura Anne Jones MS, Shadow Education Minister, said:
“Today I challenged the Minister on his dreadful record on education and his recent pledges to prioritise school spending and increasing standards.
“The Minister once again failed to recognise his own cuts to the education budget and the dramatic drop in education standards we’ve seen since he took office.
“I asked him to commit to a PISA target which he failed to do once again. The Welsh Conservatives would prioritise education funding and recruit 5,000 new teachers.”
