Welsh Health Minister won’t say cost of Junior Doctor pay rise

Responding to Eluned Morgan failing to reveal how much it would cost to match the pay review body’s recommendation for junior doctors, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:

“It is frankly bizarre that the Health Minister wouldn’t say how much it would cost to meet the pay review body’s recommendations on junior doctor pay.

“You would expect any responsible person in charge of health to have that figure clear in their mind, but Labour won’t say what it is.

“The Labour Welsh Government should put their vanity projects to one side and match the pay review body’s recommendations.”
