Welsh Labours vanity projects turn out costly for the Welsh NHS
Commenting on the news that the Labour Health Minister has threatened to cut Welsh NHS services to end the pay dispute with healthcare workers, Welsh Conservative Shadow Health Minister, Russell George MS said:
Don’t cut our Welsh NHS, scrap Labour’s costly vanity projects instead
“I think the Welsh public will be alarmed to hear the Labour Health Minister calling for ‘deeper cuts’ to our Welsh NHS. This is completely inexcusable, given Labour are the only government in the UK to have ever cut an NHS budget, not once, not twice, but soon to be three times.”
“The solution is simple Health Minister, don’t cut our Welsh NHS. Instead, get the Labour Government to scrap the costly vanity projects, cancel plans to expand the Senedd, U-turn on the 20mph blanket speed limit rollout and prioritise health spending.”
