The ongoing saga of attempting to use Public transport in Cynon Valley
Why is the Welsh Government spending on advertising Transport for Wales? The service provided is a shambles and the bus services in Cynon Valley are constantly cancelled. Don’t see our Senedd member doing anything to improve the services but if there was a photo opportunity perhaps she may take a look at it. The expensive research by Senedd shows that “Public transport issues are not new” expressing the obvious is just like rubbing salt into the wounds of anyone who has no choice other than use the non-operational public transport system allowed to operate by the Welsh Government.
Taken from Senedd Research, Public transport issues are not new. Bus passenger numbers have declined for about a decade. In contrast, rail passengers have grown steadily, but overcrowding and ageing trains have dogged Arriva Trains Wales, and subsequently Transport for Wales (TfW) Rail.
Why does Welsh Labour keep expressing the point that the public should make more use of public transport is it a joke they are playing on us by conveying that message? It is a joke when managers of the newly formed TFW train operator cannot organize a simple bus or buses to take the volume of passengers from a train. Below is the experience of today's journey into the Welsh Capital from Aberdare, our MS MP and leader of the council are all labour loyalists are they comfortable with the services provided for the public of Cynon Valley the standard of public transport has been in decline for years
