Early-morning burglary in Trealaw
Officers in Rhondda are appealing for information following an early-morning burglary in Trealaw at the weekend.
A man was disturbed in the front room of an address on Rhys Street at approximately 6.30am on Sunday, April 28.
He left after being confronted by the 81-year-old occupant, who later found a quantity of cash had been stolen.
The suspect is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, approximately 5ft 2in tall and of slim build. 'Scruffy' in appearance, he also had black hair and was wearing a black jacket.
Anyone who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident, or who has information which could assist the investigation is asked to contact 101, quoting occurrence 1900151026.
