The PCSO’s who received the accolades provided presentations highlighting their work, which supports communities

The excellent ongoing work of our PCSOs was celebrated at the fourth Reward and Recognition event held recently at Police Headquarters in Bridgend. The event recognised PCSOs who were nominated by colleagues for projects or problem solving initiatives which have made a real difference to the lives of the communities they serve.

The PCSO’s who received the accolades provided presentations highlighting their work, which supports communities and colleagues in local wards. Following their presentations, the PCSO’s also answered questions about their work and will help share best practice across South Wales Police.

Chief Superintendent Belinda Davies, said: “PCSOs are part of the fabric of policing across the South Wales Valleys. Their work is critical the success of how we police and these individuals are shining examples of what is being done day in day out. It makes me extremely proud to see their work recognised in this way.”

Assistant Police and Crime Commissioner Bonnie Navarra added:
“The work with schools, community groups and some of the most vulnerable in our society is to be commended. We are grateful to them for their devotion, and for working so well as part of a South Wales Police team which is dedicated to keeping South Wales safe.”
