Major Disruption for Local Residents with Road Closures in Cwmaman
RHONDDA CYNON TAFF CO UNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, CWMAMAN, ST ANLEYTOWN AND TYLORSTOWN)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the following sections of roads during the specified days and times: –
SECTIONS OF ROADS OR PARTS THEREOF TO BE CLOSED
LOCATION – EXPECTED DURATION
1 – Glanrhyd Street and Glynhafod Street, Cwmaman – 7:00am to 7:00pm each day between 24th September to 26th September 2018
4 – Fforchaman Road, from its junction with Cwmneol Street to its junction with Mountain Road, and Mountain Road, from its junction with Aman Street to its junction with Morris Street – 7:00am to 7:00pm on 3rd October 2018
3 – Park Road, Ferndale and Park Street, Tylorstown – 7:00am to 7:00pm on 1st October 2018
Access will be maintained for pedestrians, residents vehicles and emergency service vehicles.
The restriction is necessary to enable filming to be carried out on or near the roads
