ABERCYNON TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH 24, 25, 26, AND 27 ABERCYNON)
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have a maximum duration of six months
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding along the following lengths of footpaths:-
Footpath 24 Abercynon
That part of the footpath that commences 58 metres south from property No. 1 Woodland Court, Mountain Ash CF45 4UJ (Grid Reference ST0862795162) proceeds generally east for 246 metres to terminate at Grid Reference ST0886995212
Footpath 25 Abercynon
That part of the footpath that commences 231 metres south from property No. 1 Woodland Court, Mountain Ash CF45 4UJ (Grid Reference ST0846594935) proceeds generally east for 738 metres to terminate at Grid Reference ST0907895255
Footpath 26 Abercynon
That part of the footpath that commences 208 metres east from property No.1 Woodland Court, Mountain Ash CF454UJ (Grid Reference ST0892595210) proceeds generally east for 24 metres to terminate at (Grid Reference ST0994795216).
Footpath 27 Abercynon
That part of the footpath that commences 103 metres north from the property known as Cefn Y Garth Farm, Pontypridd, CF37 4HP (Grid Reference ST0905194469) proceeds generally east for 320 metres to Grid Reference ST0931094628. The path continues north for a further 575 metres (Grid Reference ST0598295084).
The path continues east for a further 199 metres to terminate at Grid Reference ST0913298217
The restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety.
The Order will be in operation from 14th May 2018 to 20th August 2018
For the duration of the closure, the public are advised to use the existing highway network.
