ROAD CLOSURE ROAD LEADING TO PENTWYN UCHAF FARM, MOUNTAIN ASH

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(UNNAMED ROAD LEADING TO PENTWYN UCHAF FARM, MOUNTAIN ASH)

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

 

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along the unnamed road leading to Pentwyn Uchaf Farm, Mountain Ash from its junction with Llanwonno Road, south eastwards for a distance of 190 metres

 

The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road.

 

The Order is expected to come into force between 8:00am and 4:00pm on 10th January 2018 or until the works are completed.

 

Access will be maintained for pedestrians but NOT for emergency service vehicles

 

During the period of the closure the alternative route for vehicles is as follows:

 

From the south eastern side of the closure, proceed via The Unnamed Road to Pentwyn Uchaf Farm, Mill Road, Heol-yMynach, Pleasant View and Llanwonno Road to the north western side of the closure.

 

For vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, reverse the directions given above.
