Aberdare Community School DofE Diamond Challenge Event
On Wednesday 28th September 2016 a number of Year 10 pupils took part in the DofE Diamond Challenge Event at Cardiff International White Water Centre.
The event is part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and aims to help raise funds for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people to do their DofE.
This was a great opportunity for pupils as they tried new sports / activities, met lots of new people / pupils from other schools and also met His Royal Highness the Earl of Wessex; Prince Edward.
The day was a great success and pupils had a great experience!!!! Excellent behaviour from all pupils, who represented our school in a positive way
