Public Health (Wales) Bill – Key changes at stage 2,

The second stage of the Public Health (Wales) Bill was considered by the National Assembly on 28 January and 3 February 2016 in the Health and Social Care Committee.

A number of amendments to the bill were agreed at stage 2, it was also indicated that amendments could be taken forward or considered at stage 3. The Assembly is scheduled to consider stage 3 of the Bill in plenary on 8, 9 and 15 March 2016.

The following parts of the Bill were amended:

• Tobacco and nicotine products
• Special procedures
• Intimate piercing
• Provision of toilets
