man has been banned from Aberdare Town Centre

A man has been banned from Aberdare Town Centre after continually committing anti-social behaviour.
Robert Jones, aged 50, has been issued with a two year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). The order was issued on the back of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act where he had caused harassment, alarm and distress to member of the public due to his behaviour.
The order states he:
• Must not attend Aberdare Town Centre except to attend St John’s Medical Centre by way of a pre-arranged appointment
• Must not use verbally, abusive or threatening language or behaviour that is likely to cause alarm harassment or distress to any person.
PC Dave McCutcheon, anti-social behaviour officer, said: “Robert Jones has caused misery for many in Aberdare with this anti-social behaviour and persistent street drinking. This order shows that we will work with our partners to deal with offenders robustly and that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated.”
