New Girlguiding Rainbows unit set to open in Aberdare this September

A brand-new Girlguiding Rainbows unit is launching in Aberdare this September, offering local girls aged 4 to 7 the chance to make friends, build confidence and take part in a programme of games, creativity and adventure.

The new unit will meet on Wednesday evenings at [VENUE NAME], starting at [TIME], with sessions open to girls who have already started primary school.

Rainbows is Girlguiding’s youngest section, and the new Aberdare group promises members a mix of friendship, creativity, confidence-building activities, adventures, games and challenges – all built around the guiding motto of fun, friendship and adventure.

As a brand-new unit, spaces are limited, and organisers are encouraging interested families to register early to avoid missing out. [Membership costs £X per term/session, and further details will be confirmed on registration.]

Organisers are also appealing to the local community for support in getting the new unit off the ground, including volunteers to help run sessions. Anyone able to offer their time is encouraged to get in touch.

Parents and guardians wishing to register their daughter’s interest, or adults interested in volunteering, can contact the unit at Aberdare.rainbows@outlook.com.
