There will be a PACT Meeting for the Aberaman Ward (Aberaman, Godreaman, Cwmaman, Glynhafod and Abercwmboi) on Thursday 18 December at 5pm, held at the Flying Start Centre in Godreaman.
Residents are encouraged to attend and hear directly from the three local councillors about what progress, if any, has been made towards delivering an Aberaman Community Centre.
There will also be a police presence, and the meeting is expected to generate lively discussion. Many residents are increasingly concerned about motorbikes being ridden dangerously through residential streets, with areas of Aberaman, Abercwmboi and Cwmaman often being used as unofficial racing tracks.
You may also want to ask why children are being forced to walk up to three miles to school in the harsh weather we so often experience in the Cynon Valley, and why your councillors voted to cut school transport.
If you’re frustrated by antisocial behaviour or want answers on long-standing community issues, this is your opportunity to have your say at the meeting.
