The support in the last week from parents and the rest of the public around Wales hasbe out of thus world. It just goes to show that the safety of travelling to school means a lot to these families.
We have 485 student views. With section 1. Part 3
5.48 stating
Part 3: Seeking the Views of Learners Why is it important to seek the views of children?
5.48 It is important for the following reasons:
• Section 1 of The Rights of Children and Young Persons (Wales) Measure 2011[1]places a duty on Welsh Ministers to have due regard to Part 1 of, and the Protocols to, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child when exercising any of their functions. In particular, Article 12 specifies that children have the right to say what they think should happen when adults are making decisions that affect them, and to have their opinions taken into account. The Welsh Government therefore attaches paramount importance to enabling the voice of children and young people to inform its policy development, particularly in relation to the matters which affect children and young people
• Children are the users of the walked routes to school
