Improved number 11 service will connect residents in Sebastopol for first time
New service changes welcomed by developer Taylor Wimpey
Residents living at Edlogan Wharf development in Sebastopol are set to benefit from better
connectivity following the news of an improved Stagecoach bus service in Cwmbran.
The popular number 11 service will now run every 30 minutes instead of hourly helping to
connect customers between Cwmbran, Kemys Fawr, Sebastopol and Oakfield.
As part of the improved service changes, the route will run via the Edlogan Wharf
development, marking the first time a bus service has connected the development since the
build began in April 2016.
Martin Gibbon, Managing Director for Stagecoach South Wales says: “We’re delighted to
provide residents living on the Edlogan Wharf development with better connectivity and safe
journeys with our new and improved service 11 timetable.
“We recognise the vital role our bus services place in connecting communities, and this
update is fantastic news for those living on the Edlogan Wharf development. With a better
frequency, customers will benefit from better connections to other Stagecoach services and
destinations in and around the Cwmbran area and they will also have more flexibility when
planning their journeys.”.
Kate Lacey, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Director
from Taylor Wimpey, welcomed the new bus service.
She said: “We’re really pleased that Stagecoach has introduced this enhanced bus service
to Edlogan Wharf. Good public transport connectivity has always been a key consideration in
our development planning, and this improved service offers an environmentally friendly way
for residents to travel to Cwmbran and the wider area.”
