A 15-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons has been charged with communicating false information in the form of a bomb hoax, sending by public communication network a menacing message, and persistently making use of public communication network to cause annoyance/inconvenience. He is currently released on conditional bail and will next appear at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court to be sentenced on July 16.
The charges relate to offences committed in Aberdare on Saturday, June 14.
