The Abandoned Children’s Paddling Pool at Aberdare Park is another excellent post by Tony Williams on his Aberdare FB site A bit of old Aberdare, the amount of work he puts into this site is remarkable.
The Rhondda Cynon Taf council owned the paddling pool at Aberdare Park it was closed in cuts to services in May 2014, along with every outdoor pool in the county borough.
Community members arranged a meeting to discuss re-opening Aberdare Park’s dormant paddling pool it never reopened
