Responding to the latest labour market statistics for Wales which show a continued decline, Samuel Kurtz MS, Shadow Economy Minister, said:
“Under Labour’s increasingly failing grip on power, the Welsh economy continues to lag far behind the rest of the UK.
“Wales has the highest economic inactivity and the lowest employment rate in the whole UK and the gap is still widening.
“There can be no long-term planning for the Welsh economy when we have seen such a churn of Economy Ministers in the last few months. It is only the Welsh Conservatives that could offer the stability the economy needs for planning and growth.
