20mph review: Labour stack report to reflect their position
Responding to the release of Labour’s final report on the 20mph review, Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:
“This report is nothing more than a Welsh Government smoke screen designed to strengthen their own position on 20mph.
“The fact that only 27 respondents were included from organisations such as Cycling UK and Sustrans tells you all you need to know, this report has clearly been heavily stacked to support the Labour Government’s position.
“You only need to speak with the average person in Wales to know that this report does not reflect the position of the vast majority of the people of Wales. Labour ignoring the public is a stark warning for the rest of the UK on what a Labour Government will look like in Westminster.”
