Gething donations: action taken on Withyhedge landfill

Responding to Pembrokeshire Council taking legal action over Withyhedge landfill site, operated by a subsidiary of the company that gave Vaughan Gething £200,000, Paul Davies MS, Shadow Minister for West Wales, said:

“The misery that this company has inflicted on our communities must come to an end.

“Withyhedge landfill is ruining people’s lives, and the man who owns the site helped to propel Vaughan Gething to the office of First Minister.

“If I was Vaughan Gething, I would be more careful about the company that I keep.”

Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, added:

“It’s easy to see why Vaughan Gething has broken the glass on some emergency help and is clearly in crisis mode when the stink caused by his donations just won’t go away.”
